It will be 19 years in June 2001 when I first became aware that I was chemically hypersensitive. During that time I have found many lessons to learn. You can access "My Story" for a little more background on my experience with chemical hypersensitivity. As a result of becoming disabled by my extreme intolerance to many toxic chemicals, I have become a reluctant activist. I wanted to do whatever I could to help educate others about toxic induced disorders. This is my attempt at it.

This site will be the links page for new pages as I write and create them on the issue of MCS. In July of 1999 I was interviewed for an article for the Seattle PI. I was immensely surprised at the characterization of me created by the news reporter who interviewed me on the phone for about an hour. I was also troubled by factual errors in that report. It was then I decided I needed to create my own file of information to share with others. The information is from my research and writings to help educate others about the issues of MCS. This site will be evolving. I hope you will be tolerant of the roughness of these web articles. I will continue to re-edit and refine them. If you find errors, please email me.

After a very difficult spring and summer, my brain is back. I believe I lose some frontal lobe ability during the spraying of pesticides during the spraying season. This activity distracts me from being productive. I must put my writing and research on hold while I attempt to find and create a safer place to live. This is no easy task for someone with MCS. I still have many thoughts and many folders and books on the issues I have been researching. I will be back. Until then, please help all of us with toxic induced disorders get the research and recognition that this disorder deserves.
